Guess What Time It Is

Since it is the first day of October it must be time for the monthly stitchery and applique quilt pieces to make their appearance.  It is hard to believe it is October already and soon we'll be in the holiday season again.

This applique' was one of 12 designs by Indygo Junction.  As has been explained before, the 1997 date is the year the house was to be completed and wanted to document that on the quilt pieces.
This stitchery with the October angel is one of 12 designs by I Done My Best.   I have been informed the information of the designer isn't who I thought but rather is the work of Nancy Huggins of The Basket Case x Needlework Therapy.   So sorry to have given the incorrect information for those of you who may be seeking out the designs for yourself.
Both of these were done way before I'd been bitten by the hooking bug and don't have any desire to do embroidery any longer.  However, those Indygo Junction designs could easily be adapted to a rug pattern and there are a few I've considered doing just that.

Thanks for stopping by for a brief look and a quick 'howdy'.  Have a great day.

Saundra

  1. Those are both cute patterns and would be great as rugs. Looking forward to seeing you hook them :)

  2. I was looking at some of your blog posts from earlier in the year where you said you could not identify the angel embroidery designer. I have the pattern set here in front of me. It is by Nancy Huggins of The Basket Case x Needlework Therapy. I have not made any of them but have had good intentions.

    1. Karen, I am looking for the July pattern in Nancy Higgins angels of the months. I was working on the July angel while on a long airplane flight and left it on the plane. I asked to go back on the plane to get it and wasn’t allowed till the cleaning staff was through and by that time it was gone, probably thrown away by the cleaning staff. I really want to get a copy of that pattern because I have all the rest and I’m making them for my granddaughters. Can you help me. Claudia Evans email me at cjevans.rn@gmail.com thanks so much.

  3. Do you happen to have the pattern for the Angel of September embroidery? I've Googled it and Nancy Huggins and don't see it or a way to contact her anywhere. My mom did Angel of May for my first granddaughter 5 years ago. I have a new granddaughter born this September, and my mom has passed away. I would really like to do the September design for my new granddaughter. Thanks

  5. I have been working on the series Angel of the Month embroideries by Nancy Huggins for a few years mainly as I take flights. This last week I left my embroidery on the plane and the airline was not much help looking for it so I’m trying to get the pattern again. I need July. If anyone has the pattern, I would love to buy it. Claudia Evans
