Horse Trainer Update

Hooking on this rug isn't going nearly as quickly as I'd intended.  Plans were to start either my grandson's next Christmas gift rug or start something 'heart' related for Valentines Day.  Don't think that is going to happen.

This is all I've accomplished since the last update.
Still a lot of background and border to do so am happy that I saved the Trainer for fun.  He's even more special since he was hooked with left over worms.   Admittedly it was a mess to pull out all the green worms on my lap to find matching green herringbone for his pants but was definitely worth it.

Hope my readers are warm and snuggled in.  I left the house today for the first time since Friday as there was that ...uh..... arctic Canadian gift from my friends (snow and COLD).  Today we didn't even reach the high temp of freezing.  According to the weatherman we will get in the 40's tomorrow.  Thank goodness.

Still love my Canadian friends but you are welcome to keep your gifts.

  1. Oh Sandra, you're a heart breaker. We have so much beautiful snow to share and you're not even interested in our free give away.
Did you know that no two snowflakes are the same. That right... Each one is unique like your many hooking friends.

What can I say, your got a lot done even though you didn't meet your perfect quota. It's a relief to us slow hookers to know that you're not perfect after all, heh!

    Hugs, Julia

  2. Hi Saundra , I being a slow hooker loved having you in our group just for a little bit. I am hoping I am a late bloomer and will start getting more hooking done in my mid 60's lol!
It sounds cold where you are. Were getting two storms in one week. I am having my own hook in while camping this weekend. Hugs cheri

  6. We had freezing rain this morning and now the temp has risen so the ice is going away. So happy I did not have to go out in it this morning ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  7. Hi, Saundra, love the horse trainer rug but hope he doesn't use that whip!! Unlike you, I liked the cold weather and am now sitting here sweating after coming in from cleaning the stalls. Wish we had some snow, we haven't had a decent snow for several years:(

  8. Great rug! We're having a cold snap here in Washington and it makes me a bit cross! I don't enjoy shoveling snow one bit!
