Tomorrow binding the chicken rug will begin during The Five news program. So thought if I didn't tweak it now it may never get done. This is yesterday's post photo with camera #1.
And with camera #2 this is what you see. I usually use camera #2 but since the red didn't show up well with the combs and wattles went with #1.
Since I didn't care for the spout looking thing, yet wanted to add that feature since it is in the antique decided to tweak it a tad before binding. So this is the way it looks after the changes and photo taken with camera #2.
Perhaps I'd never have given the rug a second thought once it was put on the floor and walked on. Perhaps I'd never have wondered what it was Robin saw that I didn't. Not wanting to take that chance I made a couple changes today. Now there is no hesitation on binding tomorrow during The Five TV show. If you hate binding too, join me with your choice of beverage and we pals can suffer along together.

Happy hooking and binding.

I hate to say it but it does look better. Glad you tweaked it a bit. We watch the Five as often as we can. Love the segment "In Your Face Harold". Janice
ReplyDeleteI can barely see “the thing” now that it is rehooked, but maybe cuz my vision is currently so bad! Hopefully tomorrow all will be better!

Glad you got it to where you like it. I like it!!! I'm hand quilting right now.
ReplyDeleteI don't hate hand quilting ( I'm lousy at it) and will be stitching during The Five. Not sure it will be at the same time as you because my husband tapes it so we can fast forward through Jessica. Her voice is just that annoying.
Ok...I hereby promise I will stop seeing anatomy parts in others' rugs...or, at least, commenting that I see something. ;-) I do believe I may join you for binding again if I get things in place in time. I have the first round of hand stitching done on my cats rug...now I need to attach the binding to the back (an easier process in my book...I think? It's been so long that I've actually bound a rug I may be remembering wrong....).
ReplyDeleteYou know , your changes do look much nicer ....I like your idea binding with a little Happy Hour !!! Cheers !!! LOL
