Yes, it's about time for Farm Menagerie to be FINISHED. It was set aside a couple times while working on the Hearts hook along rug, again when I introduced my plus one floral/geo. And again when the chippy wood look wool didn't work for the house. So yanked that out and went with this greenish grey and I'm calling it done.
Thankfully it is now hooked, steamed and needs binding. Today the drudgery of binding will begin while watching The Five.
Am surprised I'm having so much fun hooking the floral/geo as a log cabin geometric wasn't on my radar. Plus hated having to set it aside to finish the Menagerie, but it was time. Won't give away my progress on the floral/geo just yet as I'll need something to write about next time. Soon I'll be looking for the next shiny bauble to draw for my hooking frame.
Happy Hooking everyone.

You have done the original proud. Your color pallete is very pretty and the house is wonderful after all the angst it caused you.
ReplyDeleteThe color of the house is perfect! Loving everything about this latest rug. Janice
ReplyDeleteAnother masterpiece ☺️
ReplyDeleteAnother great finish my friend! Still haven't made it downstairs to retrieve The Stag to know what I have and don't. Haven't touched hook or needle in days.

really like it....much more than the orig. I gotta go back & see what the flower/geo is 'cause I can't remember. Found it and an erroneous comment by me that didn't belong on that post. Pardon me.
ReplyDeleteLove your colors for this !!! Love it !
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on that rug. The colors were well chosen as usual. Robin hasn't touched a hook in days, for me it's more like I haven't touched the hook in seasons.
