Which means that neither of the two rugs are totally bound.
Am hoping tomorrow I'll be able to give a positive report of binding as well as a photo of the rug I've started. If I don't have a hook in my hand pulling loops am very unsatisfied.
Oh.... today also purged more in my sewing room and Comcast Intervention Interuptus.
Tomorrow morning Comcast will pay me a visit to finally fix a recurring issue. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow and can get back to 'life as I know it'.

Heehee~ nice to know I'm not the only one who gets "sidetracked." Looking forward to seeing what's under the hook 😊
ReplyDeleteSaundra,,, you are pretty organized!!
ReplyDeleteDont blame u for starting to hook,
I do it, too,,,
Have a mat pressed and have to sew back, and another on almost there,,, then I hooked on a scrappy mat thats getting pretty heavy to take anywhere,,, have a great day,
Looking forward to seejng ur new mat,,,,
If I didn't have to work I would be pulling loops much to cold to go out of the house these days.

Wonder if the ADD thing is a problem with most crafters....it surely is with me. I blame it on over stimulation. We see far too many tempting things, especially with the internet and workshops. It is hard to resist.
ReplyDeleteI am always putting things off and starting new projects, but I plan on not worrying about the old for now, just making new quilts and finishing them, then I can think about the rest. Just need to get back into the swing of things and relearn sewing skills, then the hard stuff won't seem so overwhelming.

You're too hard on yourself... Putting things off is just a choice we make. Why hurry, just enjoy the journey and do what pleases you. Enjoy what little time is left. I'm starting to think time is going by too fast and I can't keep up so I must slow down. I can't do it all any more.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and cosy.
Hugs, Julia
Hi Saundra,
ReplyDeleteEven when you get sidetracked, at least you know your rugs will be waiting right where you left them!! Hope you are staying warm in those cold temps!!!
Take care and stay warm with all that wool!!
Heart Hugs~
