A Tribute to BEN
All this week while at camp I aware of the loss of my boy Ben one year ago yesterday. Didn't write about it after arriving home yesterday because I didn't want to go from a high of camp to a low of my boy's departure on the same day.
Last year had to leave camp a day early only to find Ben had just died moments before my pulling into the driveway. He is still missed.
He was a wonderful Rottie who I adopted in 2011 and got very lucky to have such a loving dog. Below is a photo of the very first day we met. I told him to sit in order to see how he responded to me and commands.
Miss you sweet boy you may be gone but not forgotten.

So hard to believe it has been a year. I knew you were away at camp, but a year?
ReplyDeleteMy hearts still breaks for you. It is so hard to lose one of our fur kids.
I'm sure he is romping at the Rainbow Bridge with Loocie and Ellie.
I know just how sad you feel …..it is so hard to loose our fur babies, but they are suppose to leave us broken hearted ….that means they were very special & will never be forgotten
