It's another Winter Storm Warning! For another 6-10", which, last time turned into a 12" snowfall that lasted almost 3 weeks. And part of that 3 weeks it was rock hard white ice. Yesterday at the store noticed there was still snow from the January storm left after they shoveled the parking lot.
Tomorrow was my dental appointment but rescheduled it as I'm sure I'd not be able to leave my driveway, let alone the development by 10:30 a.m.
So that means I'll be purchasing a new computer before the end of the year. I loved my DELL much more than any of the HP computers and don't know much about the off brand names.
Have heard nothing good about Windows 11 but perhaps Microsoft has had time to iron out the wrinkles. I like my iPad but don't want an almost $3,000 Apple Mac computer because of the expense. And as lovely as the iPad is I cannot use the flash drives with it.
If anyone has Windows 11, a desk top PC brand name you like, please contact me so I can take notes when I'm ready to buy another.
I'd better go fill up the birdfeeders and get ready to hunker down and wait out the storm. At 5 p.m. I've a little more to bind on Animal Parade then sew on the label and it will be done. Then hook on Animals Great and Small. Happy hooking.

Oh No is right !!! Hope you don't get that much snow or Ice !!! We might get lucky and it won't come near us. Lots of snow has melted and I am finally able to get out for a nice walk . Please Mother Nature , no more snow or ice !!! Think Spring !!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, you stay inside and stay safe. So far for Ohio it's been a mild winter. Just a few inches of snow here and there, some ice that quickly cleared. Hopefully you can hook the week away.
ReplyDeleteWe seem to be getting snow every other day at this point. We are getting 3 to 5 Tomorrow night into Thur and then Sat night 6 to 10 with icing on the top of it ick!!!
ReplyDeleteI have used Dell for years. I am using a dell laptop that will need windows 11 but I will download it to this computer it should be able to take it.

I have never learned to like Windows 10 (I guess I am a slow learner!) so I am not looking forward to Windows 11. According to DSO (he has been a Mac guy for many years) there are Mac desktops that are not that pricey, but I don't want the learning curve of dealing with a different operating system.

As secretary of a couple of clubs, I find MAC is not compatible with many other computer brands thus I stay with Dell
DeleteWindows 11 at work have been horrible. I am still fortunately on 10. Unlike you I hate my Dell work computer, but have always loved my HP's. Guess everyone has there own preference. e had 7 inches overnight. Am tired of snow. Janice
