INDIAN PEACE FLAG CANTON PROGRESS

This is what I've hooked so far.  Am planning on finishing the left side down to the wing then will work on the Eagle and Shield.  Well, maybe the Shield first the left wing.
Although I posted it previously, will show you again the inspiration for my adaptation.
For an historical reference is a photo below of a magnificent Peace Flag from 1803.  You can read more about the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the Peace Flag history HERE.

Just a couple weeks away from July 4th and sure hope my rug is done in time.   Happy hooking everyone.

    It's getting more beautiful with each and every loop you pull. You've chosen a wonderful blue for the background. Did you dye that specially? I agree with Lauren and Cathy - you'll certainly have it done in time.
