Happy New Year ! ! ! !

Wishing all of my blogger friends a very Happy, Healthy New Year. Frankly, if I have my health, family and friends I AM happy. Okay, okay, add a hook in my hand and that adds to the happiness.
Although I didn't get the sheep rug finished yesterday (my first deadline), nor today, at least I can show you my accomplishments of 2015.  And like Julie of Primitive Heart strings said, it will be my first finished piece for 2016.  Thanks Julie for making me feel my glass is half full instead of half empty.

Here are my 2015 rugs but not sure they are in the order they were finished.

Hannah’s Hen ~ Woolley Fox
Harvey’s Magdalena ~ antique adaptation, Magdalena Briner
Crow Pillow ~ Heavens to Betsy
Black Kitten ~ antique adaptation drawn by me designer unknown
Crow Mat ~ designed by me inspired by Magdalena Briner
Porter’s Man Cave Rug ~ Original design for son Greg ~Christmas 2015
Cherries and Candy Stripes ~ antique adaptation, designer unknown (pattern available).
Chum ~ antique adaptation designer unknown (pattern available)
Mr. Cotton Tail ~ designed by Brenda Gervais
Hester ~ design by Lori Brechlin, free pattern in Prim. Quilts and Projects
Hobo Joe ~ Lucille Festa of American Country Rugs.
Nantucket Broom Ride ~ Lori Brechlin design/ Spruce Ridge Studios
Puppy Love ~ Out of Hand Rug Hookers Challenge (with templates)
A Day in the Country ~ by Tonya Robey of Mad Hen Prims.

So now the first rug of 2016 will be the glorious sheep rug.  So guess my past year was filled with lots of happy hooking.  Since my computer crashed in 2015 and where my list of hooked accomplishments was listed, that is why I couldn't remember the order in which these were hooked.  Am also wondering if any mats were missed.  Sadly I've also lost the historical list of rugs hooked since 2003 as that list was on the old computer.  Now I have an external hard drive as well as my flash drive so that there are back ups.

Wishing you all a very happy 2016 and praying to God our world changes for the better.

  1. You have been busy and have lots to show for 2015.They are all beautiful rugs. It must make you feel like you've accomplished something worth while. You should make a portfolio of all the rugs you've hooked since you started. It would be awesome.

Health, family and friend and a roof over your head to keep your rugs dry...
wine in the cellar and food in the fridge is also nice, hehe.

    Happy New Year Saunda.
    Hugs,

  3. Saundra, your projects would make a great lay out for a magazine. They are all wonderful, and looking at them I was reminded how much I loved them all when you first posted them. I love them all again, but esp. that hen in the first pic.
