SLOW PROGRESS

At least to me it seems as tho I'm making slow progress.  Perhaps because this is bigger than I normally hook, and I don't care because I'm still having fun.  Yet Jo, Jenny and that whole group of gals hook rugs far larger than this and seem to finish them in less time; plus, they teach.  Guess I need a class in time management 😞
Tomorrow I must clean downstairs to do a little Christmas decorating.  It won't be elaborate decorating, perhaps my Charlie Brown tree and the feather tree I made, will decide tomorrow.  But like Lauren said, it will do my heart good.  With all the decorating she does her heart must be full.

Heard on local news that Drones have invaded the lower eastern shore, not far from me.  A law enforcement officer whom is very respected said the government officials are saying nothing to him so had no information to provide.

Enjoy the weekend, it's mighty cold here.

  1. The more I read about these drones, the more I think they are our own government doing surveillance. Do you think that if they were of a foreign nature we wouldn't have shot them down?

  2. I love pretending I’m your neighbor just stopping by for a little chat, and maybe a bit of show and tell. I think you are making good progress on the rug. It will be another beautiful one.
I hope you will show us your feather tree and tell some about it. Mary @ Hilltop Post.

  6. I think you made fantastic progress....and how I love those kittehs!! And you hook circles around me. Stupid stag should have been done a long, LONG, time ago. I try to put blinders on and not think about how fast others hook or stitch. I know "the hooker down the road" pumps out rugs like a factory...and she designs them first...and she teaches, travels, dyes wool and draws patterns for sale, etc. etc. I truly believe comparison is the thief of joy. And I think we're in the same boat re Christmas and the holiday. I have decorated some...not like I used to but I managed to do better than the past several years. It does bring some joy...and the little lights I have all over bring some comfort to the long, dark, days and nights. I do miss having my large tree and my outdoor lights and tree...but there's nothing for that. Stay warm and keep looking for joy.... We've come out of the deep freeze (-30º windchills) today but we're now under a winter storm warning...preluded by a good coating of ice. 😳 ~Robin~

  7. You made lot of progress on that rug and I know that you're not a slacker. It's looking great so far.

I saw the drones and the officials talking about it on the news. I bet they belong to the government otherwise they would have been destroyed by now.

It's mighty cold here too and I got the wood stoves working overtime. Take care and keep warm. Hugs.

  8. Slow progress is better than no progress which I have been doing. Yours is looking good. I heard about the drones in New Jersey. Did not know they were moving up the coast. Why cant someone say where they are coming from? Janice
