Before hooking the roosters comb and wattle decided to take a photo with another camera to see if the wool used in the hen really does work. I can see the red well enough so won't opt for a brighter red. It is an antique adaptation after all.
This is how the previous photo with another camera appeared and which was my cause of concern. So no need to swap out the red.
Since yesterday was an unusually clear day thought I'd better cut grass before last night's storm and today's rain ... yes, again there's rain.

I can't believe you have that much rain. I really like your chicken rug and it looks so nice. I think its always fun to hook chickens.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly woman! You will be done in no time. What a fun rug.
ReplyDeleteWhat’s next??? Inquiring minds want to know…and I doubt it will be Ezra 🤣

YAY I can see the red! I love their food bowl. We are expecting rain tonight as well. Janice
ReplyDeleteChicken rug is looking so nice ! Love the bowl of their food and your background colors !!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes (as Mia would say)...that red is great. Definitely no brighter. You're making incredible progress - and like Janice and Nancy, there's something special about that food bowl! Rain here too...and Canadian wild fire smoke already. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteYes it looks wonderful. WE have had so much rain this weekend but the week ahead is going to be beautiful.
