Well, it's a start and at least there's something on my frame now. It measures 20 x 29.5.
As you know, sometimes I have a 'plus one' to work on when getting stumped or being bored. A sweet friend sent me a photo of an antique rug of a pup I've named Spot. Spot just might make its debut here one of these days.
This afternoon the entire family had a celebration before my grandson Zach deploys to the Navy. He has enlisted as an electrical aviation technician and will leave on the 25th, just 4 days away.
He's quite excited to begin the next chapter of his life and we share that enthusiasm. God speed Zach, God Bless our military and God Bless America.

God bless Zach. Thank you for your service. You got quite a nice start on your latest rug. Looks good thus far. Janice
ReplyDeleteOff to another great start.
ReplyDeleteGod bless your grandson for enlisting to serve this great nation of ours. May God bless him and keep him safe. Thank you Josh 🇺🇸⚓️
Josh, don't have an email for you and it appears you were also in the military. Thanks for your blessings and thank you for your service to the USA.
DeleteWell, duh. Forgot to change setting so I came up as anonymous. I inadvertently called your grandson Josh instead of Zach 🤦♀️
DeleteYou are, indeed, a speed hooker extraordinaire. Godspeed to Zach. Wishing him the best of experiences and praying for safety in his service. (My BIL was in the navy!)
ReplyDeleteGood wishes , God's protection and blessings for your grandson Zach.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how you hook this pretty !!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Zach.....thank you for your service
Drawn and started. That's great! The hook in I attended did kick me into gear and I started a funky fun Kelly Belfast cat. God bless your grandson and keep him safe! Go Navy!
ReplyDeleteI think that will be an awesome rug to hook. I really like how your latest horse turned out. Its sounds nice to get together with family to wish your nephew off. Best wishes and prayers for him as he serves our country. For without his service we wouldn't have our lives we live now.
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern you are working on.
ReplyDeleteCongrats and blessings to your grandson♡
Cathy

ReplyDeletePrayers Zach for a wonderful & safe career
