I Have a few rugs to share with you. Dog and Apple trees hooked late 19th century (43.5 x 45.5).
I've also some cat rugs which will make my friend Robin happy. This one below was also from Fiddler's Antiques.
I thought this cow rug was a hoot and looks like it may have been drawn by a child. Was dated between 1890-1899.

Here is the sweet dog rug friend Lauren sent me. Isn't he sweet?

Cats and rabbits, no date.
This antique rug below was also found at Fiddler's Antiques.Cannot recall where I found the rug with two inquisitive travelling felines. Looks like a mountain range in the background.
That's it for this show. Going outside to pick up a few more limbs leftover from the blizzard and the ongoing March winds. Then inside to pull a few loops. Happy hooking.

This might be the all time BEST rug show!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the antique floral but WOW 32 x 73. Sheila K.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love that dog and cherry trees. I did a Google Lens search and found it was an auction site. And you had shown way back in 2020. I think I'm going to hook this. Thanks for the show. It's such an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love the wolf and red riding hood lol. You always find some good ones.

Lots of great rugs !!! They are all so different ! Fun to see !!!
ReplyDeleteYou really knocked it out of the park with these MD! Too many to call out the ones I like/love and not much easier to identify the ones I "don't" like because there aren't many.
ReplyDeleteAwesome mats,,,,,
ReplyDeleteStarting to feel like. Spring 🌷🌷🌷
Thanks Saundra

Me loves both the dogs and that floral one! All great rugs. Janice
ReplyDeleteThe forlorn cow reminds me of a second-grader's drawing years back --- when he drew a cow with her udder between her two front legs. One of our teachers then sewed an applique pot-holder for his mother --- using his pattern. Fun. Donna
ReplyDeleteDonna, wish I had your email so I could reply personally...anyway, if you think about it the second-grader had the udders in the upper part of the body like his own mother. The humor of innocence.
