Yesterday was quite warm but today was even warmer and understand today broke a record in a few Delaware towns. Late morning I turned the heat off, opened a window in front and back of the house to let the breeze flow thru and warm up the inside vs. heat pump. Normally I set my thermostat at 63 in the winter (yeah, that's why I wear turtlenecks and sweat clothes). Below shows the temperature this afternoon when it reached 92* outside.
However this lovely hot weather won't last long. Tomorrow will be quite warm but then it rains and a cold front comes in to reduce the temps to the normal 50's in the day. But hey, I'll take that vs. the ice and snow we had in February.
Am still fervently looking for my next project. Have even looked at other peoples' web sites for something to rock my socks. But found nothing today. The patterns were adorable and well hooked but just didn't make my heart go pitter pat. Will it be another horse, a geometric? I've found a couple antiques which are interesting but am still on the hunt.
Meanwhile I'm happily hooking on my present project. That is while there is still a tad more to hook.

A beautiful few days in northern Ohio, but in the low 60’s…not 90’s. So thankful that I didn’t have to walk the granddogs in cold weather, but will probably be walking them in the rain tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYou better find that new project soon!
It was in the high 50's here and foggy, but we did have the front door open for a bit. The thunderstorms will be rolling in around 2:00am here. God luck finding something that tickles your fancy to hook. Janie
ReplyDeleteWHAT??????!!!!!! 90ยบ????!!! You’re gonna make me believe in global warming before you know it. Oh wait…3-5” of snow on the way here so perhaps everything balances out?? Nevermind…I don’t buy it either.
ReplyDelete85 one day 65 the next. It's weird everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWe broke records yesterday too , we hit 79 !!!! Today is 67 ....it has been wonderful , but it all comes to an end . We get rain and back to more normal temps , in the 40's . The best part is watching the snow slowly disappear !!!
ReplyDeleteHope you find a pattern soon too !!!
Hi there, I finally made it here for a quick visit. It was 68℉ yesterday and people were walking around town in tank tops and shorts. Today we had freezing drizzle and I lit the wood stoves to get the chill out. The poor Robins didn't stay around too long but I was glad to see my first sign of spring. I'm ready for spring.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for your next project. You always come up with a good one.
I have a 2 inch shoot of Daffodil poking out of the ground in the back of the house.
of course, Lauren always has early spring flowers.
If I was closer, I'd go help you clean up the branches in your yard. I hope your turtles will show up soon.
Take care, hugs.
