FARM ANIMALS UPDATE

But before I show you the update, there's a question on one of the animals.  What kind of animal do you think is circled below?  I think it looks more like a fox than a dog.  Yeah, it is bigger than the sheep to the left but dimensions don't matter in primitive hooking.
Okay, now for the update.  Haven't pulled any loops on this since starting the Hearts Hook-along October 1st and am kinda missing it now.  But it is nice to have something else to work on when boredom sets in.
Another chilly morning with inside house temps at 66 and I'm dressed in sweats.  Will be warmer and near 80 by Monday yet it won't last long as winter is inevitable.

Happy Hooking.

  3. I vote fox too...especially given the coloring. We were above 80ΒΊ today...but windier than heck. (I have a pool of leaves...). The forecast shows a cool-down for next week but still no rain - which we so desperately need.

  5. I love this rug, Saundra! I, too, think that's a fox circled. But, it can be whatever you decide it is, right?! Been learning to spin yarn - the whole process from sheared wool to spinning the yarn. Now on to how to weave on my new to me loom! Still love hooking though and I'm in the middle of a rug I've drawn that is a replica of a painting my dad did of our camp on Winnipesaukee - his painting is very primitive and was done probably in the 60's or 70's. 6. I say a red fox. I wish we had cooler temps here. In the mid 80's still. Surely not Fall here yet. Janice

  7. I'd say it's a fox but not exactly sure what that thing at the tail end of it is. A skunk? A rock? A hedgehog?
