A Quilter's and Hooker's Coffee Table Book

At the publishers right now is a wonderful hardcover coffee table book with magnificent hooked rugs by Polly Minick and stunning quilts by Laurie Simpson.  Publication date is expected April 4th, 2017.

Their works will be showcased in a variety of settings with vignettes giving ideas which may work with your own decor.  The colors will be in blue and white with clever decorating tips and insight on adding diversity with a two-color palette.  

There will be an array of one-of-a-kind quilts, rugs and textiles you won't see anywhere else.

Rug Hooking Books

I am a member of Yahoo Rughookers Bulletin Board where people post items for sale or to inquire about an item they want to buy.  Recently a member posted an add for some books she recently purchased off the shelf from a store which was closing.  She is selling these books at a VERY good price. Don't know if they have been sold yet or not but don't hesitate to contact her if you have an interest.  One book is a KEEPER as it has free patters inside to enlarge for your hooking pleasure.  It is a book by Polly Minick and her sister Laurie Simpson.

New Publication with Patterns

Just look at this gorgeous olde looking rug.  It is a beauty that I just have to hook one day.  The gals are at it again; Polly Minick and Laurie Simpson have co-authored another new book which will be released soon, probably within the next two weeks.

And, this is another hooked design that is offered in the book along with patterns for 3 quilts, 2 additional hooked rugs (total of 4 rugs) and one denim jacket.
