SMOOTH SAILING

Smooth sailing is hooking The Ark, not the new computer set-up.
Usually I hook the central motifs first and then work my way around the border and background.  The ship's wooden frame will require more narrow strips.  So am afraid they would get pulled out easily if that section is placed on the gripper strips while hooking the border.  Not sure if my theory is correct but decided to play it safe.  Guess I'll find out soon enough.

Still sitting on the side is the remainder of Snowman binding.  But it is a Christmas gift so there's plenty of time to finish that task.

Sometime tomorrow the monitor connection should be delivered.  Sure hope it is the right part as I'm anxious to take the new computer for a test drive.  If it isn't the right connection cable I'll be driving somewhere in search of the part.

But tonight I'll be hooking and watching my summer guilty pleasure show "Bachelor in Paradise".  Yup, ashamed to admit it, but true.  My least favorite bachelors are the mafia-acting Brian and the wanna be politician Sean, who thinks he's smarter than anyone else there.  And in case you're wondering ~ no, I don't watch Big Brother.
