IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK....

.. a lot like Christmas 🎜🎝.  The Christmas Cactus is getting it's decorative flowers and looking mighty festive.
That white stuff is falling from the sky and does look pretty from inside the house.  A view from the front of the house looking toward the central meadow of the development.  My long driveway needs repaving which will be rather costly at some point.
Here are the tracks of a squirrel who visited my porch, probably to chew on some of my furniture.
And a backyard view toward the woods.
Wish I had some hot chocolate, that would be great to enjoy while hooking this afternoon looking out at the snow.  Will pick some up next trip.  Happy handiwork everyone.

  1. A couple of my cacti are blooming. I was gifted an amaryllis with two buds but that won’t be blooming for a while. Same with my paper whites. I haven’t had any of those in many years.
It feels like the North Pole here in Ohio πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά
Stay warm and cozy while hooking!

  3. Wow...a Christmas cactus that actually blooms around Christmas?? Unheard of here in my house LOL. I have 3...2 are newish and have not bloomed since I got them. The other is older (at least 10 years??) and blooms sporadically. Well it did until I almost killed it. (Well, I hope it's "almost" and I can salvage some of it.) Hot chocolate sounds good...I have a chocolate maker that I've not used in a long time. Hmmm....

  5. Glad your Christmas cactus is blooming. The one my mom had always bloomed around Easter. I was thinking yesterday I needed to get some hot chocolate. Still need to get some. Janice
