One Winged Eagle

Nowhere near finished but at least the eagle has one full wing.
Not much hooking going on today as I had a pattern to draw and a dental appointment for the drilling and temporary crown work.  It is now after 8 p.m. and the left side of my mouth is finally feeling normal vs. numb.  I had the novocain at 1:30 this afternoon.  Was under the impression the nerve was dead but nope; and the doctor numbed me up good.

Received an order for two more patterns but THEN crap happened.  The HP 8022e printer is holding me hostage and will have to buy ink from Walmart tomorrow.  It's a long convoluted story so won't give the details or I'll probably bust a blood vessel.  Let me say this is the last HP printer I will ever own.  A few years ago I stopped buying HP desk top computers.

Think I need to go chill a little before going to bed so hope there is something interesting to watch on TV.

  1. Eagle is looking majestic. Ugh on the printer issues. We have HP printers both here at home and at the store and dont have issues though...except when we run out of
ink or paper and forget to purchase replacement packs. That drives me crazy. Janice

  2. Hoping for a better day for you today Saundra. It seems life has gotten to a weird place where every once simple fix is a major hassle! I am presently on the hunt to find the correct light bulbs to replace the burnt out ones in our outside lamp post. sigh

  3. Eagle is flying high!
Novocain is the worst and the fact that the nerve was not dead 😵‍💫
Any technology issues are frustrating. Hopefully it has been taken care of.

  5. Your eagle is looking very is looking vey regal. Not surprisingly, you're cruising along. I'm done with HP as well. I had one HP printer I (relatively) like for several years but it started having issues so the kids got me a new printer for Christmas last year and it has never EVER worked properly. GRRR.... I hope your tooth/mouth is doing better today. I have the (dis)pleasure of the oral surgeon (again) next week. Not looking forward to it.

  6. Must be dentist time I have a cleaning on Monday. Your eagle is looking good. I think printers are put on earth to confuse and confound us. I am always doing something, and I don't even use it that often.

  7. I shamefully admit we usually buy a new (just basic) printer at W when we run out of ink. It seems to be cheaper. Rug is looking good.
