Black cats aren't bad luck but since it is Hallows' Eve perhaps this is the perfect first rug to share. Circa 1880, per the auction house, it measures 34 x 52 and 9 bidders are watching it.
A nice horse rug that I've saved for many months in the hopes of seeing a full view of it and more information. Hasn't happened yet so decided to post it anyway and will put this one on my list of rugs to hook anyway.
Another Barbara E. Merry rug of a horse being shod. I found this rug early this October and have never seen this one before.
Now this one looks like the normal hooking style of Barbara Merry. Actually, this one was found at an antique mall and sent to me by Nancy Kilrain. Thanks for thinking about me Nancy.
Flowers and hearts hooked for Hattie and wondered if a mother or grandmother hooked it for her. Said to be made 19th century and measures 31 x 51.

Below is another Barbara Merry rug and the horse looks like the one above getting new shoes put on, and with the same blue wagon. You music lovers should love this rug entitled "Go Man Go" circa 1920 (26.5 x 59). It is still for sale if anyone wishes to own it.
That's it for this show. Hope you have a great weekend and don't forget to set your clocks back tomorrow evening. NOT Lauren's favorite time of year. But she's happily hooking somewhere me thinks, so right now she's not concerned with the time.
