In full disclosure, my new project is another long one so I will be showing only one motif. Don't want to give the entire pattern away right off the bat as it is more interesting anticipating what is next. It is another antique adaptation and am as excited to work on this one as I was Animal Parade.
Temperatures remain below freezing so my backup propane heat has been working overtime to keep the house warm. Last Friday I called for a tank refill and the company's delivery in Seaford is Tuesdays. By 4 p.m. yesterday the truck hadn't arrived so I called to inquire. Due to the weather (understandable) the truck will refill my tank sometime today.
Also, a UPS delivery has been delayed and am sure my bolt of linen will succumb to the same situation. Saturday's upcoming storm isn't looking good for this area either. But at least we're not seeing the devastating wild fires California is experiencing right now. God bless them and keep them out of harm's way.

Around here they were hoping for the snow to get here but it is staying well south of us so I guess you are going to get again. Sorry we could use the snow for skiing and winter sports but You would rather not have it.

We had heating oil delivery today I will say the price has gone down that's a blessing.

ReplyDeleteWe are staying below freezing for at least the next 10 days, but our snow is minimal.
The wildfires are just heartbreaking. Not to be cold or harsh, but if the state would allow the forest floors to be rid of dried brush, it could help the fire situation. Just sayin'.
The fires in CA are so scary ....we know of a few people who have had to evacuate , just hope they get out ok and find a safe place to stay .

You are a huge tease. And, nope, I'm not recognizing the design...but I know that ain't a cat. Cold here too...but nothing like the cold it COULD be here this time of year. We made to 16º today. Woo hoo! No snow...but I think they are saying this weekend. I need to get fuel again soon unfortunately. Last time was gut-wrenching...the propane truck and the fuel oil truck were here at the same time. Thought I'd need to go back to work. I was gone most of the day (DMV...Lord have mercy...) but saw the devastation in CA when I got home. So horrible. I can't - and don't want to - imagine. ~Robin~
