There must be a perpetual dark cloud over my house. Have you ever heard or seen a rain phenomenon? I've posted about it before and it happens here more often than I post about it. Here is the most recent one and before yesterday's rain and tornado warning.
And there have been others...just now searched my blog and found the other two times I blogged about it, you can see it HERE and Here. So guess there really is a permanent rain cloud living above this property. At least it seems obvious to me since this occurs over the years and in a small area.
Now about my Paint Program issue. Still not resolved and even tried a hard shut down hoping that would solve the problem since all Microsoft's instructions didn't work ~ not any of the 10 times I followed all suggestions. So just how does someone get Windows/Microsoft to solve this issue?????
Yesterday I went to the UPS store as the ad says they print. Nope, couldn't help me as the largest they could do was 10 x 17. I suggested to the gal that IF she was to fold my one page and enlarge into segments it would work. As the 17" x two would be longer than the pattern I needed. Uh, she couldn't get the concept so sent me to another printer in town.
Went to the The Print Shack and Christina said they no longer do print jobs, but what did I need as she could direct me to someone else. She explained the largest they did was the 10 x 17. BUT, since she wasn't busy at the moment and understood what I needed she could help. So for $4 I was able to come home and tape together the pattern which will be next on my frame. Wondering what I chose? It is what I'm calling Shelburne Bouquet. It is an antique rug.
During our brief encounter and chat I learned she is an author of a children's book "Courageous Clooney". Below is the real Clooney who is the subject of the book and true story.
Clooney is a rescue, by the way, who was heart worm positive when he was adopted but survived. What a lucky dog he is but Christina says she's the lucky one. Christina also crochet's coats for animals, you can find photos of Clooney, the coats and the book on Instagram. Thanks for your help Christina.
