There must be a perpetual dark cloud over my house. Have you ever heard or seen a rain phenomenon? I've posted about it before and it happens here more often than I post about it. Here is the most recent one and before yesterday's rain and tornado warning.
And there have been others...just now searched my blog and found the other two times I blogged about it, you can see it HERE and Here. So guess there really is a permanent rain cloud living above this property. At least it seems obvious to me since this occurs over the years and in a small area.
Now about my Paint Program issue. Still not resolved and even tried a hard shut down hoping that would solve the problem since all Microsoft's instructions didn't work ~ not any of the 10 times I followed all suggestions. So just how does someone get Windows/Microsoft to solve this issue????? I even tried Rapid Resizer I found on-line. But before it would print it said I had to pay. Oh, thought it was a free site but it would cost $39/per year. Well forget that.
So yesterday I went to the UPS store as the ad says they print. Nope, couldn't help me as the largest they could do was 10 x 17. I suggested to the gal that IF she was to fold my one page and enlarge into segments it would work. As the 17" x two would be longer than the pattern I needed. Uh, she couldn't grasp the concept so sent me to another printer in town.
Went to the other location where the woman was able to accomplish what the other person at UPS couldn't. So for $4 I was able to come home and tape together the pattern which will be next on my frame. Wondering what I chose? It is what I'm calling Shelburne Bouquet. It is an antique rug.
Happy hooking.

Ugh on your program. Sorry I have no answers. Glad you were finally able to get your pattern printed and it is a lovely one you chose. Once driving back to my mom's house after we took my mom to the movies, we actually saw frogs falling out of the rainy sky. It was quite horrible because unfortunately I was driving over them as they fell in front of the car. By the time I could stop the car on the side of the road...it stopped. Janice
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait to see you hook this design !!! It is so pretty !!!
ReplyDeleteFreaky about your rain blotches .
Happy St Patty's Day !!!
I was wondering if there's an accumulation of debris or soil under the deck that touches the boards that prevents the boards from drying. Over time, mildew or fungus can make the boards dark.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your pattern enlarged.
Hugs,
Julia
I have had it rain in the front of my house and bit the back.

I love your new rug!

Well....I would rather have an actual/virtual raincloud over my house than the figurative one that's been hanging over mine.... Sorry your Paint program issues haven't been resolved but glad you got the pattern on paper one way or another. I heard about the tornados in Delaware...hope you are safe and well.
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten about the rain phenomenon. Had to go back and reread your old posts.
ReplyDeleteA pain in the butt, but at least you got the pattern enlarged! It will be another masterpiece!
