ALL HOOKED

The floral is hooked and steamed so it's time to bind.  It seems to take me forever but is less painful when devoting only an hour or so a day while watching The Five.
And, yes, I've drawn out my main project which will be shown in a future post.  You can probably guess what the subject is just by looking at it folded.  But still want to draw another to sit on the sideline and be ready if I get bored with the main project.
Worked outside for about 11/2 hours this morning and since my back and knees were screaming and it got hot, I'm in for the rest of the afternoon.

I've Only Just Begun

Well, it's a start and at least there's something on my frame now.   It measures 20 x 29.5.
As you know, sometimes I have a 'plus one' to work on when getting stumped or being bored.  A sweet friend sent me a photo of an antique  rug of a pup I've named Spot.  Spot just might
make its debut here one of these days.

This afternoon the entire family had a celebration before my grandson Zach deploys to the Navy.  He has enlisted as an electrical aviation technician and will leave on the 25th, just 4 days away.
He's quite excited to begin the next chapter of his life and we share that enthusiasm.  God speed Zach, God Bless our military and God Bless America.

THIS and THAT

There must be a perpetual dark cloud over my house.  Have you ever heard or seen a rain phenomenon?  I've posted about it before and it happens here more often than I post about it.  Here is the most recent one and before yesterday's rain and tornado warning.
And there have been others...just now searched my blog and found the other two times I blogged about it, you can see it HERE and Here.  So guess there really is a permanent rain cloud living above this property.  At least it seems obvious to me since this occurs over the years and in a small area.

Now about my Paint Program issue.  Still not resolved and even tried a  hard shut down hoping that would solve the problem since all Microsoft's instructions didn't work ~ not any of the 10 times I followed all suggestions.  So just how does someone get Windows/Microsoft to solve this issue?????  I even tried Rapid Resizer I found on-line.  But before it would print it said I had to pay.  Oh, thought it was a free site but it would cost $39/per year.  Well forget that.

So yesterday I went to the UPS store as the ad says they print.  Nope, couldn't help me as the largest they could do was 10 x 17.  I suggested to the gal that IF she was to fold my one page and enlarge into segments it would work.  As the 17" x two would be longer than the pattern I needed.  Uh, she couldn't grasp the concept so sent me to another printer in town.

Went to the other location where the woman was able to accomplish what the other person at UPS couldn't.  So for $4 I was able to come home and tape together the pattern which will be next on my frame.  Wondering what I chose?  It is what I'm calling Shelburne Bouquet.  It is an antique rug.
Happy  hooking.
