Acadian Frame Update

Have heard from the Acadian Frame folks (Cindy and Mike) a few times, questions were answered and a cherry frame is being held for me. They will inform me of shipping costs and I will send them a check immediately.  I'm getting excited.  Not sure exactly when I'll get the frame as they have Christmas orders and Cindy recently had surgery so is moving a little slower now.

If I'm not mistaken, it is a cherry frame that Barb purchased and was the photo shown in an earlier post about this subject.  My main question was...'is there a height adjustment?'  The answer is "Yes, it can be elevated up to 5 inches".

I desperately tried to copy and paste a picture of just the frame but this allows you to see the woods offered.  Also, the picture shows a much better view of that adjustment hand screw, almost hidden by the gripper in the front.  The photo I showed of Barb's frame in an earlier post shows that screw against a shoe and wasn't totally visible to my eye.

The frame swivels and rotates, has a height adjustment of up to 5" and looks like a pretty piece of furniture/equipment.  If you are considering entertaining the purchase of this frame contact Cindy .

Have a great evening everyone.  I'm excited about my future gift to myself.

  2. That looks like a nice frame. I had the puritan but sold mine, was too small for the bigger rugs, but now I wish I had kept it, at least it was off my lap, lol. I have my townsend, so that will have to do, but I only have one that I started and doubt I will make any more big ones.

  3. I love my Acadian frame! I have two of them, the small one and the big one. I have had them for about 8 years and still love it! Mine is the Cherry wood too!
