UFO Hit and Miss

It still isn't done but at least I've made a little progress.
Hooking on it seems a bit more fun and less boring.  Probably because I'll be attending rug camp and will get my 'new rug on the frame' fix real soon.  Meanwhile I'll plug along on this for a while.

Thank you Julie (Primitive Heartstrings) for asking the size, as I should have mentioned that tidbit of information.  The mat is small measuring 12" square.

Who knows, this just could be the piece which keeps me entertained until my teacher (Kris Miller of Spruce Ridge Studios) gets to  me.  Kris does a really cool thing when choosing who starts first.  She writes a number on pieces of paper for the number of students she has, then puts them in a basket and has each student pick a piece of paper.  Whatever number the person picks is the order in which the student will be color planned.

One year I was all settled in and working on a fun piece awaiting when the number pulled out of the basket was #1.  Dang, of all times to be chosen first, lol.   I've had numerous classes with Kris ~ she is fun and talented.

Happy Friday everyone.
