However, this is where I am right now and would really love your input on the feet of the chicken.
So, guys, do I go with the light colored foot on the right or the pale red of the flower foot on the left? There's a reason to even consider the red feet being a more informed hooker. That would make the eye travel from corner to bottom and capture everything in the rug. BUT, since I'm adapting two designs into one it could be that the trees below carry the eye down and red feet are not needed.
Have a great evening everyone.

I like the cream colored foot. When I look at it my eye goes right to he red foot! Just my opinion. Love what you are doing, combining both designs into one!!

I happen to like the two different colored feet. it is a funky rug, go with it.
ReplyDeleteI think the orange is too bold, I would go with the lighter color or one in between the two. Keeping it on the lighter side makes it look more like an antique.

I kind of like Margaret's idea, but if I were to choose one, it would be the lighter foot.
ReplyDeleteYou will be done with this in no time and on to another wonderful project. That DR is what bogged you down.
Hugs :)

the lighter one seems to match in better, if that is anyway to say it.
ReplyDeletefirst impression is to go with the lighter foot...this rug is so fun!
ReplyDeleteI think the two different colored feet makes it interesting.
ReplyDeleteI would go with the lighter foot.
ReplyDeleteLookin good.
I agree with Cammie. My eye went directly to and stuck on the red foot.
ReplyDeleteLike the lighter foot. Great rug!
