Guess What I Just Found

Just found this Abe and Mary Todd Lincoln log cabin rug said to be hooked 1920 and measures 22.5 x 32.  This is the front.
A view of the back and the colors don't seem to have faded.
Here's a corner so you can see the mixture of dark wool used.
And you're probably wondering what all the hullabaloo is about...look at this last photo.  It was hooked by none other than Barbara E. Merry and am so pleased to have found another of her rugs.
This find has made my day and wonder how many more of her rugs have alluded me.  Happy Sunday and happy hooking ~ also unhappy binding, 😖.

    Happy Sunday to you.
