Building Houses

Guess that should be worded more....."hooking houses".  And just as in real life there might be a date set for the finish of construction but it seems to go on longer than planned.
Am planning on some tweaking as I go along BUT am trying to stay as true to the delightful design that Kelley Belfast designed for this challenge.  If you would like to join in this challenge write to the Facebook open group known as Out Of Hand Rug Hooking and ask to join in the challenge.  First you'd need to join the Facebook group.  But if you wanted to join in the challenge you need to ask to be included in the challenge group which is a closed group to only those who get the free design.  Well, back to building houses.

And thinking positive thoughts for Lauren's pup Ellie who was attacked in her driveway last evening as she was getting ready to take her pup Ellie for a walk.  Please all you animal lovers say a prayer for that little pup.
Ellie
Hugs Lauren and hope you soon give us good news about Ellie.

  1. Oh no, how awful, poor little Ellie. I hope she will be all right. I'll keep her and Lauren in my prayers. Thanks for letting us know and it's Lauren's birthday tomorrow.

Your rug is looking more beautiful every day.
    Hugs,

  2. You are so kind and thoughtful. I've already gotten a couple emails concerning Ellie. Hopefully she will be home tomorrow but the poor girl is hurting but thankfully will recover. It just breaks my heart to see her and I know she hurts because she would not eat the chicken I took for her. So heartbreaking.
    Lovin' your rug.
    Hugs,
    Lauren

  5. Poor little Ellie , we have all followed her story since Lauren first got her. Praying for little Miss Ellie. We have been having such warm weather here in Georgia. While working in my flower beds my dogs had a snake cornered under a bush , we thought we had got it before one of the dogs got bit. Unfortunately we didn't , the snake wasn't poisonous , but caused a punctured wound that got severely infected. So it was surgery for him but he will recover. What would we do without our pets?
